The ASA STARS National Tour's Michigan 200 at Owosso Speedway has been postponed to Sunday, August 25.
With a poor weather forecast with rain expected throughout the entire weekend, series and track officials announced the decision to postpone the ASA STARS National Tour's first trip to Owosso by one week.
"Owosso Speedway and ASA STARS National Tour officials have made the decision to postpone the Michigan 200 which was originally scheduled for Saturday, August 17th due to the poor forecast which calls for rain all weekend long," reads the series statement. "The event has been rescheduled for Sunday, August 25th with a 1 pm start time. More information will be released in the coming days."
The Michigan 200 is the seventh race of the 2024 ASA STARS National Tour season. It is the second race of the year at a track that was not on the inaugural ASA STARS National Tour schedule in 2023, as Bubba Pollard won the Clyde Hart Memorial at New Smyrna Speedway in February.
After the Michigan 200, a string of historic events wraps up the 2024 season. The Glass City 200 at Toledo Speedway takes place on September 14, followed by the Winchester 400 at Winchester Speedway on October 13 and the All American 400 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on November 3.
