Racing America has unveiled its commentary team for the 50th Annual Spencer Group Paving Oxford 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway.
For both Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27, Alan Dietz and Elgin Traylor will be in the broadcast booth calling the action for one of the biggest short track events in the Northeast.
They will be joined by former 2001 PASS champion Sam Sessions during Sunday’s Oxford 250, and by ACT announcer Bobby Prezeau on Saturday during the American-Canadian Tour Late Model portion of the program.
Dietz was the long-time voice of the PASS South Super Late Model Series from 2006 to 2018 and has also announced several marquee events on Racing America, including the last two Oxford 250s.
Elgin Traylor, originally from Palmyra, Maine, is regarded as one of the premier event historians when it comes to the Oxford 250. He has followed or covered the Oxford 250 in various capacities for more than 20 years.
Sessions won the first PASS Super Late Model championship in 2001 and won five PASS races during his career. He had three top-five finishes in the Oxford 250, with a best finish of third in 2006. Sessions was named as one of the Top 50 drivers in the history of the Oxford 250 as part of Racing America’s ongoing celebration of the 50th running of the event.
Prezeau is part of the regular ACT commentary team. Regular viewers of Racing America programming most notably heard Prezeau during coverage of ACT’s trips to Autodrome Chaudiere and Autodrome Montmagny over the past two years.
Fans unable to attend the Oxford 250 weekend can catch all of the excitement live on Racing America all weekend long. Saturday and Sunday’s racing will be available via a pay-per-view broadcast, while Friday’s racing will be live for Racing America subscribers.
