Blake Rowe Eyeing JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Championship in 2024
Mar 13, 2024
The winner’s share of $4,000 comes with etching their name in the list of winners at the grueling Anderson Speedway and becoming a winner with the esteemed JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour.
When the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance rolls into Anderson Speedway on Saturday, May 4th, an increased purse will be on the line including bragging rights of mastering the famed Anderson Speedway. The winner’s share of $4,000 comes with etching their name in the list of winners at the grueling Anderson Speedway and becoming a winner with the esteemed JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour. The second race of the 2024 season is the O’Reilly Auto Parts 100 at Anderson Speedway, one of the true tests of the 2024 JEGS Tour season.
For years, drivers and fans alike have been reminded of the ages-old Dick Trickle quote, “It is like flying a jet fighter around a gymnasium,” when speaking of racing a late model at Anderson Speedway. Combine the natural competition of Anderson with the bumper-to-bumper action of the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour, and fans are the true winners come May 4th. As just the second event of the 2024 season, drivers have plenty of time to recover from the potential drama that the O’Reilly Auto Parts 100 could bring them.
For the full-time JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour championship contenders in 2024, Anderson Speedway is perhaps the most intimidating stop. Despite a 2023 Redbud 400 for the ASA STARS National Tour that never saw a wrecker or rollback called to the race track for a severe accident, the potential of something going wrong weighs on drivers' minds alongside the drive to win at such a historic facility. The decision to push for a win or race for points could be the difference between a Championship or just a “good year”.
The JEGS Tour only sees Anderson once on the 2024 schedule, and it’s a return trip for the first time since August of 2022. Nicholas Naugle bested Brett Robinson and Dylan Bates to collect the win that day. Since 2011, 10 races have been contested at Anderson for the JEGS Tour, with Trent Snyder and Cody Coughlin listed as the only repeat winners with the JEGS Tour at Anderson Speedway; proving just how tough it is to win at the ¼-mile high banked oval.
Advanced tickets for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 100 at Anderson Speedway on May 4th will be available soon at AndersonSpeedway.com or tickets can be purchased on race day at the gate. Fans unable to make the trip to Anderson, IN can catch all the action LIVE on TrackTV.com or at RacingAmerica.TV.
