Lights Out
As the United Auto Racing Alliance (UARA) prepares for this weekend’s Rattler 250, it was announced today at South Alabama Speedway that Alicia Rance will be the new Head Of Marketing for the UARA. Rance previously worked with motorsports for Feld Entertainment and has a long history in the motorsports industry.
“Everyone with UARA is excited to have Alicia [Rance] coming on board to join our team,” said UARA President Ricky Brooks. “As the sanctioning body continues to grow, and quickly at that, the need for more people also increases. Alicia fits that need perfectly and we believe she will be a key component with bringing sponsorships to the series.”
As a former co-owner of a successful event planning business, Rance is committed to fostering strong partnerships with teams, sponsors, and fans to help UARA grow. Rance believes her goal is to enhance fan engagement, boost attendance, and create “can’t miss race weekends.”
“I’ve been a lifelong racing enthusiast and a dedicated motorsports fan since my childhood,” said Rance. “With fresh vision and expertise, I hope to accelerate the UARA’s visibility, engagement, and long-term success. I can’t wait to get started.”
The UARA season continues March 13-15 at South Alabama Speedway with The Rattler weekend, featuring UARA Super Late Models, Pro Late Models, and UARA Sportsman.
