The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour is finally ready to kick-off the 2025 racing season at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. While most recent champions Gabe Brown and D.J. Shaw are looking to gain early momentum in the quest for this year’s $20,000 championship stake, so too are their closest competitors.

Derek Gluchacki has been the king of the Magic Mile, winning three of four Northeast Classics since 2021. The Kulwicki Driver Development Program (KDDP) has announced the Northeast Classic will serve as his first of five Double Point opportunities as he looks to take down win number four at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Don’t sleep on Tom Carey III either, the Massachusetts part-timer has a penchant for the big tracks and looks to join his father as a New Hampshire Motor Speedway victor after coming so close to carrying the checkers in the past. Maine driver Brandon Barker, Quebec’s Alexendre Tardif and Vermont’s Jesse Switser are among those looking for redemption after strong runs last season while a number of young guns and fellow veterans alike are looking to take on the challenge of the Magic Mile to start their season strong.

The Pro All Stars Series roster has grown as well with longtime top runners Derek Griffith, Johnny Clark, Trevor Sanborn and D.J. Shaw among those looking to keep ‘The Outlaw’ Eddie MacDonald under wraps this Saturday. MacDonald has made New Hampshire Motor Speedway his personal playground over the years, winning over a dozen ACT Late Model, PASS Super Late Model and ARCA East events at New England’s largest stage since 2008 and looks to add another trophy to the mantle. NASCAR Cup Series spotter Derek Kneeland will make his NHMS debut while Massachusetts-driver Ryan Kuhn and former Northeast Classic winner Jimmy Hebert are also set to return to the Magic Mile.

Former NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion Jon McKennedy tops the entry list in the Open Tour-type Modified division, looking for his third Northeast Classic victory in five years. Woody Pitkat, Ronnie Williams, Matt Swanson and Jeffrey Battles are also among the top headliners ready to tackle the Magic Mile again this spring and take home the $7,000 payday.

The R&R Race Parts Street Stock Open Series and Pro Truck Challenge Tour also return to the Northeast Classic on Saturday. After a strong run at the Thompson Icebreaker, Ryan Lineham is looking to make it two-for-two in the R&R Race Parts Street Stocks while longtime truck veteran Randy Burr is also looking to keep momentum moving in his favor.

The 5th annual Northeast Classic goes green at 11:00am on Saturday, April 19 with the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour, PASS Super Late Models, Open Tour-type Modifieds, R&R Open Street Stock Series and the Pro Truck Challenge Series! Saturday General Admission is available at $35 for adults, $10 for kids 12-5 and kids four and under admitted free! Full schedule and pricing for both days of the Northeast Classic is available online at www.acttour.com/actusschedule.

Camper and early hauler parking begins Thursday night, April 17 with early pit pass sales from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. All campers and haulers must be off NHMS property by 8:00am Sunday morning.
