The Pro All Stars Series makes its final trip of the season to Oxford Plains Speedway this weekend, taking one more step towards crowning champions. Before this weekend’s Spencer Group Paving, LLC. 150, here are 10 Things to Know about the event.

– This will be the 56th PASS race at Oxford Plains Speedway (ME). The series has long called this track home and the touring regulars have to contend with the weekly warriors at this venue each time out.

– Check your calendar. While in some regions of the country they are still racing at night, the post time for this weekend’s race is 1 p.m. ET on Saturday.

– There will be 375 laps of feature racing on Saturday. The Street Stocks will have a three part race where the field will be inverted after each segment.

– Oxford Plains Speedway was built in 1950 and the 3/8ths of a mile has been a staple to Late Model racing in the northeast.

– There have been 24 different winners in those 56 races. The number seemed stronger, but in recent years Curtis Gerry has pushed his win total to nine PASS events overall.

– Should he be there, then no one is going to shy away from putting money on Cassius Clark. The 2021 Oxford 250 winner has won his last two starts at OPS. In the most recent 150-lap feature prior to the Oxford 250, he led all 150 laps.

– The PASS Points show some battles are still up for grabs. Overall, Johnny Clark has a commanding lead in the overall PASS points. Clark also leads the PASS North standings. Clark trials DJ Shaw in the PASS New England South standings, which will be decided next week at Seekonk. Also, the PASS National points will be settled next week with Derek Griffith leading that race.

– The PASS Modifieds will have another thriller as a championship is on the line at OPS. Max Cookson leads by two points over Garrett Lamb. Only 56 points separate the top six with AJ Crates, Brandon Varney, Shawn Knight, and Spencer Moore hoping they could have a shot at the title.

– Joey Doiron will be another one to watch as he’s posted four top five runs in five OPS starts this year with the PASS series. One of those races was a victory and he was second to Cassius Clark weeks before the 250 and he was also fourth in the big race.

– Watch all the coverage live on Speed51.TV with a subscription.
